I haven’t posted here for a while so here’s a quick link. This article describes brilliantly what many hope Guild Wars 2 will deliver.
If this is the first time you’ve heard of Guild Wars 2, you should check out the manifesto trailer.
Yeah, I was going to be good this season. I now have a good collection of games to last me until 2013(also remember I have Asscreedrev and Arkham City on the PS3). Wonder which of these I won’t end up playing.
Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2 will take me long before then though.
So what did I buy?
I’ve seen every game in my shopping list (see last post) in the Steam sale, just not the prices I want to pay so far. Recognise I just can’t play these games in time, so I’m better off waiting.
It happens every year and it absolutely rinsed me last year. Going to try and behave this year and use a bit more restraint. Now I just have to decide what do I want, or what am I looking for.
Half these games probably won’t hit the Steam sale, nor is this list exhaustive — I’ll no doubt be buying various other crappy games.
Of course, I’ll probably spend a grand total of 2 hours playing whatever games I end up with. I don’t half like swelling the value of my Steam account.
Now buy me something.
Great month for gaming. Still playing BF3 online for the PC (played about 5 mins of single player) This is pretty much the only game I play online nowadays.
Skyrim is out, and it’s pretty immense. Bethesda know how to do an RPG, and Skyrim is their best yet.
On the PS3, still playing through Assassins Creed Brotherhood, which is a great game. Not far from the end I think (I’ve bought the all the shops and improvements now) but need to blast through it as Lovefilm have posted me the sequel.
They’ve also decided to post me Batman Arkham City. Another game I’ve been looking forward to playing. Haven’t chucked it in the PS3 yet, but Arkham Asylum was shit hot.
Don’t give a shit about a modern Warfare 3, but its on my Lovefilm list, feel like I have to round off the singleplayer series.
Well.. plenty enough to keep me gaming until April. (Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2 fuuuuck)
I’m loving Battlefield 3, but haven’t even played the single-player yet.
So, October and November see the following games being released (obviously more - these are just the ones I want to bother with)
Probably won’t bother with Rage, Batman or Skyrim until I start seeing them in a Steam sale. Still nowhere near completing Deus Ex: HR either. FIFA 12 is getting more love then anything else at the minute.
Shit coming out in the new year :-
Fucking impossible.
